Sustainable Care
We strive to give your lawn the best care possible, using best practices and products that are eco-friendly.
Mulching - Our powerful mowers can mulch the grass into tiny fragments that enrich the soil and retain moisture, for stronger healthier grass, and fewer weeds.
Sharp Blades - Our mower blades are kept sharp, to cleanly slice the grass and protect it from disease and degradation.
Correct Height - We like to mow the grass to a height that allows it to stay vigorous and healthy, with more surface area to absorb sunlight and protect the roots and soil from drying out, usually 2 - 3” inches. And we try not to cut more than 1/3 the height at a time. But please let us know if you prefer a shorter cut.
Weekly Care - During the main growing season we prefer to mow every week, this allows us to not over-cut the grass, which keeps it happy and green.
Tight edging lines - No big gaps that allow weeds space to grow.
No Clippings Waste - When the trimmings are mulched back into the grass, it reduces the inefficient waste cycle of dumping clippings. However, bagging is also an option we offer.
Organic Fertilizer - Slow-release organic fertilizers help enrich your grass without stressful growth spikes, and also enrich the soil over time, for healthy grass and fewer weeds. Lower or no phosphorous levels protect the water and environment.
Battery-powered equipment - Dramatically less emissions released into our atmosphere, relative to gas mowers and equipment. There are also no fuel fumes/evaporation or spillage.
